MG+

Description

Magnesium is a fundamental element in maintaining the balance between calcium and alkalinity. It is necessary to maintain an adequate level of calcium in our aquarium in order to keep magnesium levels between 1290 and 1350 ppm, and vice versa, because if magnesium is not above 1290 ppm, it will be difficult to maintain calcium levels at 420 ppm. If these elements are not in balance, no matter how much calcium or magnesium we use, we will not be able to bring these elements to their correct values to properly maintain our aquarium.

This additive is intended to make corrections to this value in the reef aquarium, in order to provide this element in balance with calcium and carbonates. For this purpose, you have within our range the balanced additive Xepta Reef Balance.

Contents: Magnesium salts.

Dosage: 5g of Xepta MG+ increases the magnesium content by 6 ppm in 100 liters of aquarium water. It can be added directly to the aquarium with the necessary amount of MG+ to increase the magnesium value in our aquarium in an area of strong flow, or the contents of the bottle can be diluted in osmotic water. To do this, prepare 5 liters of osmotic water and mix the entire contents of the bottle. The water should be completely clear and crystalline. When we have the 5-liter solution prepared, 10 ml of this solution will increase the Mg content by 2 ppm for every 100 liters of aquarium water.
